Clos Cibonne, Cuvée Tradition 2021

Flag of France

Clos Cibonne have not only garnered a cult following as one of the world's best rosé producers, but they also almost exclusively use a long-forgotten grape, Tibouren, in their wines. Notoriously hard to grow, the unique location of the Clos Cibonne vineyards means they are able to harness the Mediterreanen heat and ocean breezes to successfuly grow Tibouren and make some sensational rosés - a feat which has also earned them 1 of only 18 of Provence's "Cru Classe" statuses. Cuvée Tradition 2021 really is a rosé like no other. Made with 90% Tibouren and 10% Grenache it is legendary amongst experienced French wine collectors for its texture, substance, and ability to age gracefully for a decade or more. Notes of wild strawberry, ripe raspberry and orange peel on the nose move to a rich palate with a gorgeous earthy flavour with more bright red & citrus fruit flavours with an invitingly subtle spicy finish.
